The testimonies just keep pouring IN!

There's a gem in this testimony that goes so far beyond the surface of the experience, and it is something every one of us is going to need in whatever season we are currently standing in.

We have a tendency to bring God one thing at a time. We pray about the finances and privately manage the fear. We surrender the big visible crisis and quietly hold everything else at arm's length, as though God is only available for the thing we specifically flagged. But surrender does not work in compartments. The moment we release the whole picture, the whole picture begins to shift. The breakthrough that appears in one area is almost never contained to that area alone, because God does not honor the artificial walls we build between our health, our home, our children, our fear, and our faith. When we finally open all of it, the ripple moves through all of it. This is what full surrender actually looks like in real life.

Another profound reflection was when she said "this struggle is my story but it is not my future." That is an identity declaration.

That is someone who has done the deep work of separating who they are from what they are currently experiencing, and that separation is EVERY THING.

Our circumstances are always temporary. Our identity is the constant. When we know the difference between the two, we can remain grounded while the storm is still present, we can speak with gratitude before the answer is visible, we can hold onto the truth that God is still writing the testimony even when the chapter we are living feels like it has no resolution in sight.

This kind of anchoring comes from a practiced relationship with who we already are, and it is built over time in community with people who are actively choosing to hold the same posture.
