This week, I drove to Durham to meet a man named Jeff McSwain who has a retreat center, specifically designed for spiritual offerings to the community. I was curious to explore a venue for an event that God placed in my heart last year.

What happened during our visit was profound..

Jeff is a PhD theologian who studied at St. Andrews. He has spent his entire adult life writing about identity, human transformation, and what he calls the belovedness we all carry as human beings. He co-founded Reality Ministries in Durham. He helped plant a church, launched an intentional community of 17 houses and built The Glen.. acres of retreat land in Durham, specifically to help people reflect on who they are in God and what that means for how they live.

His life's work is identity transformation rooted in who we are in God.

Sound familiar?

Our work has so many intersections, yet we came to it from completely different directions. He came through systematic theology and Karl Barth. I came through womb wellness and New Thought and the lived experience of watching women's lives change when their identity shifts at the root.

We sat on the porch of the beautiful property and talked about the same God, the same truth, the same assignment, in completely different language that meant the exact same thing.

Although I had considered other spaces... I drove home understanding that the event was always supposed to be at The Glen. God placed me in a sanctuary built by a family who recognized the same calling. There were SO many synchronicities around grief, revelation and the omnipotence of God.

This is how I know how powerfully profound this event is going to be...

On that note, I am THRILLED to announce that this space is being created live and in person!

The Activate the God Within workshop is designed to create a safe space for our identity to shift at the root. We are going to open ourselves up to receive the answer to the very potent question... "what good can happen through my life"?

We will move through a process of deep self examination, honest release, full surrender, vision, and declaration that produces a version of us who operates from God Consciousness instead of survival.

We will locate in our bodies exactly where our patterns live and move them from the inside out. We will see clearly the version of ourselves who already exists on the other side of everything we have been clinging onto.

When we walk out of that room our prayer lives, our self-concept, our business decisions, our relationships, and our sense of what is available to us will all be operating from a different foundation.

This event has been calling to me since last year. I made the specific intention that all the logistics would be revealed to me.. that I would NOT force, strategize or "make" something come together.

I love living this surrendered life from this divine identity...and I love even more being a catalyst for others to do the same. The right rooms begin to find you, the right people begin to appear and the right doors begin to open without you forcing them.

I've also been thrilled to watch these same principles play out in real time inside Quantum Prayer Circle.
