Why I said STFU..and everything got better

Hey Yes God Family,

This week I did something totally out of character.

I didn’t prep.

Every other Sunday before my children come back from their dad’s, I’m in full-blown control mode. I’ve got the lists, the groceries, the structure. That ENTJ version of me shows up hard. I get it done because I’m the one who always gets it done.

But this time… I moved different.

I felt the pressure rising. My thoughts started spinning. I heard that old voice in my head say, “You need to get ahead of this.”

And instead of powering through, I stopped.

I took a breath. I didn’t answer the thoughts. I didn’t force a plan. I sat in the tension and said the realest thing I know to say in those moments:

STFU.

Yes. I told my own thoughts to shut up. With love, intention and laughter! 🤣

That’s the first rep we train in the Yes God Body - Spiritual Gym. Not suppressing. Not spiritual bypassing. But choosing silence on purpose.

Silence is not weakness. It’s discipline.

Because when you don’t immediately speak, react, or spiral, you open a window for God to move.

And in that space, something dropped in.

“Let them lead.”

So I pulled out our new healthy cookbook and I let the little ones pick their meals. They wrote the grocery list. We went shopping together. They found their items. I showed them how to pay attention to details and they gained a very important life skill. Planning, preparation and execution. We'll also be cooking together this week.. and by that I mean I'll be supervising and watching. LOL

This isn't just a parenting moment... its the result of a spiritual workout, disciplining the mind through the mouth. Telling thoughts and words to STFU. Lovingly of course..

That was the masculine frame: structure, boundary, pause—making space for the feminine to flow. Presence. Co-creation. Intuition. Nourishment. Connection.

We’re not here to think our way into peace. We’re here to build it. This is spiritual strength. This is lifestyle architecture. This is what it looks like when your nervous system becomes your strategy.

And it all starts with learning how to STFU.

I said it with a smile, but I mean it with my whole chest. Your mind will “what, when, how, and why” you into exhaustion if you let it. But the moment you stop letting it speak for you by allowing yourself to be quiet and drop into your heart with deep breaths, you remember the truth.

You’re not a mess. You’re a builder. You’re not behind. You’re being trained.

You’re not crazy. You’re being called into deeper alignment.

This moment with my babies confirmed everything this new season of Yes God Body is about. It’s not just about inspiration, it’s about integration.

This is a gym for your mind, your identity, your nervous system. A space to train differently. Respond differently. Live differently.

And if that resonates with you… I want you inside.

Greetings Reader, The summer season is not just about sunlight, it's about illumination. It is a mirror held up to remind us of the radiance we often forget. We are being called to soften. Not to rush and to reach, but to stop assuming that healing comes from doing more. You are being invited to remember that everything you are seeking already exists within you. It is not found in your checklist or your productivity or your idea of "perfection". It's found in your presence, and true presence...

Hey Reader, The way you speak to yourself is either upgrading your life or reinforcing your limitations. I experienced such a MAJOR shift in my life when I really understood that deciding WHO I was was a lot more important than WHAT I was doing. Two people can enter the exact same situation with the same opportunity, the same room, and the same external conditions, yet walk away with completely different outcomes. One person believes they are worthy, supported, and chosen. They speak clearly,...

Hi Reader If you’re anything like me, your calendar is probably filled to the brim! Meetings, appointments, errands, tasks, content ideas and deadlines (either real or self imposed)running nonstop in the background of your mind. I remember having this revelation that even though I had learned to live with it, the background (inner mental narrative) was quietly draining my joy and peace. It's not the thoughts themselves, it’s the energy behind them. The constant striving, the sense that we’re...
