Doing all the right things isn’t enough

Hey Reader,

There was a season where I thought I was doing everything “right”. I was journaling, visualizing, affirming, scripting, staying consistent...all while still feeling frustrated and stuck.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was still trying to "prove" I was ready, worthy or aligned enough through my actions to receive what I deeply desired.

I had unknowingly turned my spiritual practices into another performance...silently hoping that if I just did them hard enough, God or the Universe would reward me.

Underneath all of it was fear. Fear that I wouldn’t be chosen. Fear that I was somehow disqualified. Fear that I had to hustle even in my healing.

It wasn’t until I slowed down enough to get honest that I realized I was still operating from survival… not trust. And survival will have you chasing peace instead of becoming it.

What I’ve learned is… it’s not about doing more, it’s about being someone different while you do anything.

Survival mode isn’t always loud and dramatic..it can show up in the most innocent, automated responses.

Like saying “yes” because you’re afraid of missing out, even though you’re running on fumes.

Like the constant scanning of your environment for what might go wrong, instead of trusting what’s going right.

Like not being able to rest in silence without spiraling into anxious thoughts.

There was a profound shift in my life the moment I stopped obsessing over solving my own problems and began asking, “How can I serve someone else with what I’ve already survived?”

But then I remembered the good news: I wasn’t created to perform my way into peace, success, or love. I was created to become a vessel for it and to embody the overflow I was praying for.

I share the full breakdown in this video:

Greetings Reader, We are told all the time that the only way to get healthy or hit our goals is to grind harder, stress more, and keep pushing no matter what. Whether it is a diagnosis, a setback, or just trying to reach that next level, the message is usually the same: work harder for it. But God Consciousness teaches us something different. Discipline is not in doing more. The real discipline is in where you place your awareness and attention. It is in training your focus. It is in learning...

Hey you, I’ve been reflecting deeply on something that I know many of us do... because sometimes I do it too. We downplay our impact. We brush off the breakthroughs people have because of us. We minimize the results our work creates. We tell ourselves it’s “not that big of a deal.” But it is. Every time we help someone heal, shift, or rise in their identity, we are literally changing lives. Recently, during my prayer and meditation..and even more clearly while taking part in the Myron Golden...

Hi Reader! You ever notice how easy it is to look around at what everybody else is doing and start doubting yourself? I caught myself the other day mid-scroll, mid-judgment, mid-comparison… and it hit me: Oftentimes the real separation from God isn’t anything loud or dramatic. It’s subtle. It’s in how I speak to myself with a criticizing tone. It’s in how I rush past my own growth. It’s in how I assume my worth is tied to someone else’s response, or their lack of one. One of the biggest lies...
