Identity Is Easy Until the Plan Changes..

Hi Reader, Before this week, I had never hosted an international retreat. I had attended retreats, led groups, facilitated transformation, and held space for people in many different ways, but producing and leading an international retreat was entirely new territory for me. I could have used my lack of experience as a reason to keep postponing the vision, but I trusted my ability to organize, lead, solve problems, and adjust when necessary. The only way to become experienced was to host the first one, so I did. This week has been beautiful, demanding, revealing, and one of the greatest learning experiences I have had as a leader. It gave me the opportunity to see what worked, where stronger systems are needed, what requires clearer communication, and how I want to structure the experience moving forward. Good teachers are even better students. I believe that part of teaching with integrity is remaining willing to examine our work honestly, receive what experiences come to teach us, and use that wisdom to become better at what we do. I am proud that I was willing to move before I had ever done anything like this, and I am equally excited about what I can create now that I have. I plan to take autumn and winter to integrate what I have learned, refine the systems, and give the next retreat an even higher caliber of development and preparation. That being said... Many of the Yes God family expressed interest via a social media poll when I mentioned the possibility of our next Identity Recalibration Retreat taking place in Costa Rica in Spring 2027, so I'd like to extend that conversation here..
I am also genuinely SO excited to return home and get back inside the Quantum Prayer Circle. This retreat has further deepened my understanding of the identity work we practice together, and I am ready to bring everything I have learned into our prayers, conversations, and daily practice. I trust that those of you who have been feeling called to join us will meet me there. Yes, GOD |
